That’s not good but I believe my friends mother (94) is in the same position as is a neighbours mother (98). It’s fine calling other groups forward so long as others are not forgotten. I hope this matter is fully addressed very soon so people can be reassured.

Take care xxxx

There's sure to be some areas which complete the over 80s faster than others because as we have read about on here some centres are better organised than others. So those have been told to start on the over seventies rather than sit around on their backsides doing nothing. Trust the newspapers to cause alarm and despondency amongst the "forgotten" over 80s, ridicules!

Some people not turning up - I heard on the TV a few nights ago, sometimes this is happening so there is no wastage on the Pfizer vaccines that have to be used up

No surprise sadly, I live in Norfolk

I think the problem here in Norfolk is that we have a higher population of elderly people so it’s bound to take longer. This is being stirred up by the press and the government wanting to announce the roll out to the next tiers. Anyone else wondering what happened to the over 75s tier. We seem to have gone straight on to the over 70s and extremely vulnerable.

I should also have said our practice carried on giving out the two doses of the Pfizer vaccine which would also count for some of the delay.
