I love the little bridge! It looks like there should be a troll hiding under there πŸ§β€β™‚οΈ

Blackbird8 profile image
Blackbird8β€’ in reply toHungryHufflepuff

There is lol the old bridge is a bit rickety but adds to the fun of trying to cross over it most of the dogs just run through the water πŸ˜‚πŸ’™

BB8...sorry, it’s gonna be hard not to stick with it now! Blame Carole!! But again it’s so pretty! That looks similar to Pickets Post. The bridge is great and perfectly rickety for Stan to play by! 😊

Blackbird8β€’ in reply tomadonbrew

Lol no problem at all with BB8 ...Not Picketts this is round by Dibden enclosure lots of these rickety old bridges around lots of footprints over the years 🧑

Hi there BB8πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ and super photo with the colours of the sky and the water, it really could be one vista for an artist to set up and start πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ¨ painting!! However, that wooden bridge looks like it's taken a battering over the years. I realise you do your walking /walkies πŸ• on familiar ground but be ever watchful for holes, trip-up's & wobbly bridges etc. (Apologies for a non-rambler, stating the obvious to the true professional πŸ˜† ) .🐿🌈😷x ......P.S.Sorry but now after reading your replies, I can see I've really just repeated our lovely member's comments. x

Blackbird8β€’ in reply toSquirrelsHolt

Hi SQ ..Not to worry about repeating things I do it a lot and then think did I actually tell you that ... hmm cant remember saying it ..lol

I'm a professional at letting the doggos head on down the road first so they can find the holes and dips for us ...

Yes the bridge like the others in the forest have taken a lot of footprints over the years along with the storm's doing their damage..

Ramblers!!!! are ppl that wear woolly hats round glasses or balaclavas with mittens hanging out there jacket arms talking to each other about the stock exchange πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ ...

We wear proper clothing microfibre waterproof style gloves and muck boots ..

Anyways I have mentioned the bridge above I think you stay safe πŸ’™πŸ–€

When I lived in West Cumberland the locals used to call them crag rats and touriods.

Lovely old looking picture BB. It looks like the rear end of a dog diving into the water, I then realised it must be clump of grass lol x

Lol only Stan on this one he was behind somewhere chasing a bird ..he never catches them just I think he thinks they are his playthings ..he runs at them and watches them flying off πŸ’œπŸ§‘

Really good picture. You can almost feel the cold but it's warmed by the calm. Makes me smile. Thanks!

Blackbird8 profile image
Blackbird8β€’ in reply todunnellon

That's a very apt description sometimes how I feel when out and about walking ...

I can be thinking I want to be home right now in the warm and watching TV then I walk up a hill or turn a corner and there's a different view each time to make me rethink my previous thoughts ..except when its pouring down with rain πŸ˜‚ ....I dont mind any weather drizzle snow etc but I hate pouring rain especially when trying to dry the dogs of after their walk its impossible...☺️

dunnellon profile image
dunnellon

Oh yes! Wet dogs are a chore!
