Hi there. I’m 33 never smoked, but I’ve had an ache in right breast when I cough it isn’t all the time mostly morning and sometimes go days without it. Idk if it’s actually my back as I have a right shoulder blade problem.. I first was told it probably just infection in getting rid of as lungs sound fine, then told it was costochondritis. It hurts sometimes when I laugh or twist a certain way. They’ve sent me for a chest X-ray as I’ve had a constant clearing of the throat, it’s like I have phlegm in my throat so it’s not actually a cough as such I cough to clear my throat I guess.
I had the X-ray lastnight and I’m so impatient I’m scared I have lung cancer! They told me to ring in a week and half if I haven’t heard anything back! I feel like I should’ve asked to see the X-ray but then I got scared Incase it showed something then I would’ve gone into panic 😩😩
I’ve always felt a little breathless when I walk and talk 😂 I talk too fast I think so when I’m walking and talking I can get a bit breathless, I have had this since I was a teen, so doctor said they’re are not concerned. I think I have a bit of health anxiety since having children.

Hi Lucky87.I doubt very much if it is lung cancer, highly unlikely, you are much to young, especially as a never-smoker. As a lung cancer patient myself I can tell you that both my malignant tumour and large benign nodule are painless, so you can stop worrying about cancer. Unfortunately you have to play the waiting game for your x-ray results, worrying will not help or change the results, worry can actually make you ill though.
Hope your results show nothing too drastic. I am sure if its cancer they will be calling you asap, so if you haven't heard you can very likely rest easy.
Try Catarrh preparation from pharmacy, or New Era Q I take as alternative option to carbocisteine (latter prescribed from the doctor).
