I have been ill a little while with sore chest and constant phlegm . My chest x ray was clear but for about 2 months I have a thud or pulse type feeling on my left lung when I lie on my left side and on exhale . It makes me so anxious and worried . Also have cracking in windpipe sometimes . Have rang dr a couple of times and feel I’m making a nuisance of myself

It's difficult with doctors at the moment as they are all managing their appointments by phone if they can, but it sounds as though you would benefit from a face to face appointment so they can listen to your chest properly.
If this has been going on for two months and you are worried I would ask to see the GP.
Don't feel you are being a nuisance.
Just saying, my GP actually said it was 'a pleasure' to see me in clinic as she was fed up of not seeing 'real people'! Lol!
Hi, Lincs. As MoyB said, it's always a good idea to get symptoms like yours checked out. However...
Not sure if this is relevant to you, so if not, please ignore. I often feel a pulse on my ribs when I sleep on my left side at night. I have found it is related to the bras I wear during the day. Because my bust size is large, I always wear a bra but by the end of the day it gets very tight. Recently, I have changed to a looser bra in the evenings, and the problem has gone enough for me to be able to sleep on my left side again.
