Royal Jelly

Hello all , I have just had a cold call seller flogging the above at 75p per pill, Was suggested it was good for easing breathing difficulties in cases of COPD amongst other things. On further investigation this can cause anapalatic shock, severe asthma reaction, and bleeding from the stomach. I will be reporting this matter today. But do take care . As anyone tried this for breathing problems ? Sounds like a no no for allergics and Asthmatics.

That is not good at all it could be Catastrophic for an asthma sufferer. Sassy is right some people don’t care as long as they make money. ☹️

Yes it is not right , they do the same with diets leaving many poor vulnerable in worse positions fearing trying any options due to emotional impact. But it could kill someone. and there are no rules to stop them peddling such guff after all they are just doing the job they are paid for. Frightening don't you think.?

It is frightening. I won’t buy off a company I don’t know. I check on Trust Pilot to see if they are reputable. For health products I buy from my local chemist or Holland & Barrett. You don’t know what you are getting in the capsule you are taking if not. You have to be so careful with scams too. It’s now a worrying world we live in. 😔

I tend to use Holland & Barrett

I don’t think Royal jelly is necessarily harmful. It can have Positive benefits although as with anything there are often contraindications for some users. The problem is when someone cold calls you’ve no idea exactly what it is they are selling. The product could contain very little Royal Jelly or none at all and even some suspect or positively harmful ingredients. Also it could be a scam to get your bank details. If you want to buy supplements it’s best to get them from a reputable source and look for the quality assured label.

Take care, Katie, and thanks for the warning.

Appreciate your reply and thoughts on this , and generally agree but this does have a dangerous side effect for certain users which they are not warning about. Of course I don't know if the call is genuine either or just a ploy to get bank details.

Its illegal to cold call, report to police and if applicable local council. Those that are permitted have to have a permit.

I wouldn't be answering the door to any unknowns though.

Nice way to spread the virus NOT

If you really wanted to try it, Holland and Barrett and local health food shop for same product but soo much lower in price, Boots the chemist also.

Keep safe Katie

Cold calling does not just apply to the doorstep seller it applies to unsolicited phone calls too. I have spoken to the company and the one selling the items and he accepts my opinion too. So all has been sorted out in my case but others need to stay alert to the problems Royal Jelly could cause if you have certain existing illness. It seems these risks are more preverlent at higher dosage and Holland & Barrett do do lower dosage at cheaper prices., also Amazon just to name two. Another busy day sorting out anomalies. Have a nice evening. Wanted a shower but waiting for a parcel delivery of cream for eczma rash and knee support to do exercises to strengthen my muscles and joint. Bye for now

Katie one more thought and might not apply to you and your eczema. My srep daughter and step son have severe eczema . One has steroid creams the other was diagnosed as histamine problem in that body does not breakdown the histamine. Histamine intolerance I think. Inherited by one grandson too. seems to have different levels of intolerance and linked to food . Some foods contain more histamine than others

. Not diagnosed as such usually . Read health unlocked from some years ago. One person gives full details of diet.

Thanks for that Jaybird19 , my daughter as eczma sometimes they call it dermatitis too. I have had this for several weeks now, normally it goes in a couple of days without treatment fortunately its only between my fingers on one hand, if I keep it fairly dry its not too bad but then suddenly it flares up again guess it could be food as I have other allergies.

Ive only just learned about histamine in foods from my stepdaughter who is a person who likes to know everything and surprises me sometimes . No, both their eczema was so bad and it still. affects their lives.

Hope your cream has arrived now to ease your hand.
