Boris Johnson:

"The prime minister indicated coverings could become mandatory in stores."

Michael Gove:

"Face masks 'absolutely a good idea' in shops but not compulsory."

Being pedantic, the word "could is there" but I am thinking about the "Perceived Message" of "yes you must & not compulsory to have to.

and Gove speaking as it is now, - a good ideaq but not compulsory.

I put one on today brief, breathing deteriorated rapidly so off it came again. probably I'll just not go anwhere one is required, and will wear the face shield if I have to go to the docs.

Then lets take it a Bo-Jo step onwards and try and disguise a "sorry" when he says:-"We have always said we'd be lead by the science. However on this occasion , the science has been late in coming forward and neither I or David (Cummings)think we'd look good in face masks, it seems like we will have to go with today's science, and agree.

.....(YES, but WHAT are you agreeing to? Any clues BJ or DC 🤔🙄???). 🐿🌈

I think the conservatives are worried what rubbish will come out of their beloved leader's mouth when he's out and about without his back up there to check him. He's someone who clearly doesn't think before he speaks and puts his foot in it. x

Last Friday I found out masks are compulsory in hospitals now. Thankfully I had a silk mask in my bag which I can breathe through without getting too panicked. My son (the reason we were there, had had a prolonged seizure at 5am unexpectedly after going 14 years without a single seizure) was given a mask on his way in on the ambulance and even had that changed for a fresh one later in the day. It was surprising how many people were not wearing masks around the hospital.

Well we are home. It is an ongoing problem but until the neurologist has a chance to see his old scans we won’t know the situation. He is doing fine but another seizure could easily happen (higher than 60% chance apparently) so he has been given meds.
