Made a comment on Facebook about local park next to hospital that would be ideal for hospital staff to use as there is a shortege and as its safer for them to use a car over a bus this would be ideal. The response we don't want it used as a car park it's a park tell them to apply for permits. This really makes me angry as they are risking there lives for us.

I bet their attitude changes if they fall ill and get told the doctor is on his way but has been delayed, because he can't find anywhere to park. A lot of Covidiots about and at times like this they show themselves up for what they are.

A great idea. Sadly people have not developed a " Whatever it takes attitude". They are stuck in a previous life. I cannot use my car. It's is a big estate. I have said the volunteers in the village can use it to deliver food. I am isolated in the high risk group but it is the only way at the moment Ican give practical help. James next door is delivering food he had no protective equipment. I gave him my small supply of masks. What use are they to me I cannot go out the house. People need to change attitudes. The park my be damaged but it can be fixed. Just my opinion but anything that can be done to help these workers should be done now! Without them a lot of people will have no futures. That that should override anything else.

Sad world we live in but hopefully we come out of this with a better outlook on life and be kind to others.

Life throws us many challenges as we all know. This is one of the biggest so all we can do is keep smiling.

Some people are so nasty, it would make a great car park. The NHS staff deserve our greatest respect, they are on the front line fighting this. Why should they have to pay to park their cars when they are putting their lives on the line every day for us. We don't hear them moaning. Have a good day and take care of yourself 😊 Bernadette xx
