What do I do?

Hi I had Pleurisy years ago and I’m getting worried about the situation rite now I have a four year old and a single mother so I live alone, how do I get my gas and electric both on meters topped up when I have to isolate due to my health? I don’t have any family members who are healthy enough to go out and shop for me either any advice would be great x

If having pleurisy years ago is the only health issue you had or have then I don't see why you have to self isolate? Wouldn't social distancing be enough? x

Check if there are any people in your are that could help my some people in my area set up a community chat group to help each other and vulnerable people

Hi,

Some Charity Groups are organising to help people in your situation. Ring around the different groups. I'm in Australia so can't help you there but a couple I can think of are St Vincent De Paul or Salvation Army but I am sure that there would be many more. Ring the different churches to see what might be available. Good luck!

Hi Scaredy-cat01. In our area we have. Nextdoor. If you put that in google. Then enter your postcode. They are community groups in all areas to help the surrounding community. Here we have set up a virus help group. So those that cant get out. Get help with essentials they need. Good luck Brian

Many are availbe call your church or a church for information on help sites. Uber is driving if you need items from a drug store. They could deliever having you paid and leave tip outsidefor driver. Do not get scared there are many people on here to help and will give you idea's.Chevk the Red Cross!

Re your gas and electricity I believe something has been done about recharge of thjngamebobs. You need to contact your energy suppliers to find out the procedure. Good luck. P
