Remembering today

Vashti, who passed away three years ago. We all loved her fascinating stories, her courage and great humour. She brought the Faeries to us, abandoned cottages to life and shared her crafts, eccentric people and Lidl bargains. How very lucky we were to have been in her company, albeit online. and she is missed so much. Love to her and hope she found her Happy Place. PollyX

Really doesn't seem like 3 years ago. She had a special talent.

Is it already three years Polly4acre ? 😔 Her stories were so magical and funny. Especially when she wrote about "himself". A very special lady. xx 🦋🍀🌿🌼🥀🦋

Much missed, I still read her stories and see her photographs on the ipernity website, under the name of hedgewitch.

Oh yes, so much missed. I wonder how Himself and the rest of the family are getting on without her.

Vashti was such a great contributor to our site. I too miss her brilliant pieces on her everyday life in Ireland. So witty and humorous, often hilarious stories about her kittens, her shopping trips and “himself”. A very talented lady who left her mark and is sadly missed by everyone who knew her.

I didn’t realise it was three years since she left us,

Best wishes to her family

Thinking of dear Vashti and feel privileged to have known her through the powers of technology. What would she have made of Covid-19 I wonder and all the panic buying? Xxxx

Three years! I hope her family are OK, and have managed to " carry on". I still miss her tales, her wisdom and her sense of humour - and the faith which carried her through and beyond.

May eternal light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.
