Hi All

Now in its third year, the Living Well Alliance brings together companies that offer treatments, devices or services that support people with a lung condition. Through this Alliance they also support the British Lung Foundation and everyone who has a lung condition.

Currently there are five members who are all working with us to help support people with lung conditions beyond the products and/or services that they provide. Through this association, we have been able to work together on various projects that provide information and support for people living with a lung condition. A few examples of these projects include:

• A Health Unlocked post providing tips and information on ways you can improve indoor air quality (Airthings)

• The production of new online information on nontuberculous mycobacteria (Insmed)

• A Health Unlocked post on keeping warm during winter (Tonik)

Living Well Alliance partners have also thrown themselves into raising awareness and additional funds for the charity. Lucas have been using workplace lung testing events to help promote good lung heath among construction employees, most recently at the world famous Battersea Power Station development. PARI Medical also held a fundraising drive where they donated €10 to the BLF for every picture in a PARI boy t-shirt.

As you can see, the Living Well Alliance does so much more than make a donation to help the charity continue funding our patient services. We’d like to thank them all for their on-going support and commitment to helping people with lung disease.

If you’re interested in finding out more about our current Living Well Alliance members and the products and services that they offer please visit: blf.org.uk/take-action/lets...

Kind regards

Carol

Sounds good - I will be watching out particularly for the non tuberculosis mycobacterium report as I have two of the critters in my sputum. Waiting for consultant appointment to find out what, if anything, can be done about them. I have bronchiectasis and asthma.
