Been to hospital to have my arm heaviness investigated, could not do the tread mill test or rising of the heart rate because of my poor lung function and was told would not be safe, other procedures that could be done like operations also can not be done for same reasons, so put on a spray that goes under the tongue, take daily asprin and am waiting for the consultant to give other medication which will be any time soon i hope, will have to have a scan to see what is happening e g narrowing of the arteries and a possible stent put in, the lady who dealt with me was fantastic and explained everything very well and am so grateful for her and the N H S, So all in all a busy day but am home now and relaxing,

Hi bobbyfloyd I've been on Isosorbide tablets for the past 3 years and they sorted my angina out. Hopefully you are sorted soon take care.

My late husband Bob took the under-tongue spray for angina. It really helped, but could cause me headaches if he used it too much when I was near him.

Hi sorry just spotted this. I have Angina and so does my wife. We are well controlled on medication Isosorbide and Nicorandal also have GTN spray if required. I also have COPD but we keep going, Hope you are and keep well.
