My dad has emphysema, COPD and is on oxygen. He has been worse this last week and is feeling very low and is back on steroids and antibiotics. My mum is also low, depressed even. I think she does everything and as much as my sister and I try to help, she is a proud woman and will not ask. My mum will be 80 this year and she needs support. Does anyone know what help and support is available to them ?

There should be help for Carers in your local area and contact your council regarding help with caring.

I do hope you get the support that is so desperately needed and I wish you well.
