Pseudomonas

Hi everyone,

I have been absent from here for a while. Fear of what I might learn I think. My son has non cf bronchiectasis throughout both lungs caused by PBB misdiagnosed as asthma and sinusitis for 6 years. In October he showed moderate growth of non mucous pseudomonas. He has just finished a 2 week course of ciproflaxacin 500mg and we are waiting for the results of their success.

I started googling after this recent development and have had lots of sleepless nights. The term antibiotic resistant is terrifying! I am so glad that I picked up the courage to come back onto this site as now I have hope. Thankyou all so much for your contributions, it makes such a difference.
