Hi all, not been on for a while as winter makes me a little tired after a days work and have had problems with transport, my loyal car gave up. For a couple of weeks I had no window on the drivers side so you can imagine driving around played havoc with my chest. I now have got a little mini and love it so am driving whenever I can (it’s quite hard to drive, which I hadn’t realised, with the side of my lung removal but the pain is worth it). The other good thing is the steps going to work which I used to count singularly I now count in blocks. Instead of 66 steps up its now 6 blocks. What I am trying to say is that although I do get very down please try and see the positives rather than the bad stuff. I was told that I had 25% chance of being here in 5 years and it’s now been 3 and I have no intention of going anywhere if I have a say.
Sending good wishes to you all and try to have a good holiday. I am looking forward to having time with my lovely daughter and making her roast dinner with all the trimmings. 🎄🎄

Wishing you a good Christmas and keep the positivity up it looks like you are a battler with the things you have endured. Wishing you all the best for the New Year xxx🎄🎄
Happy Christmas Bel, I am sure you will have a good time with your daughter. I had a mini , donkeys years ago and loved it, it was old and was forever conking on but was a pleasure to drive. Good way to think of your steps in blocks, it doesnt seem so many that way. Irene x
