People in neighbourhoods with higher amounts of fine particulate matter pollution were at least 6% more likely to report having glaucoma than those in the least-polluted areas, according to the findings published in Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science.

My internet is currently too slow to want to open the article but just from the bit you posted, that’s really quite shocking. Over the recent months you’ve posted several articles about various conditions being so much worse in areas of high air pollution. Not just the obvious or expected problems. But so many others too. Glaucoma makes sense, but is totally unexpected as a consequence (to me anyway)
That may explain why two of my sisters and a brother all had Glaucoma ( sadly they have all passed away now) . They all lived in and around Manchester.....were as I who moved to live by the coast in rural Wales 36 years ago have been borderline for the last 30 years not needing any treatment. Xxx
