Hi. I just like to know how your doing I had my TX double lungs on 6-8-19 I said hi a couple of months back very impressed with your models of your bay in yr home town 10 out 10. Iam doing good. And can stay on my feet for a hour or so my feet tent to swell after that. As now hospital every 3 weeks for checks & bloods. I took your advice and if it's damp and fumes in air no wind I use my face mask. I pray yr ok and can give me a quick hello Take care and. Keep marching on. Bye Paul Hackney uk

Hi. Peege thank you. I Will soon be at the 3 month mark doing. Very well looking after myself doing all my own cooking. As prep is very important I wash my hands plenty so I don't get a infection I have to be careful I love to cook and find myself now getting up 6 am to slow cook chickhen or ox tail in slow cooker Sundays are great and Iam getting quite good at Sunday roast I try not to eat to much as easy to put weight on what with my meds so I just try to eat really well and not snack just 3 to 4 Quility meals. I think if I had not really tried post TX to eat well No processed. Low salt low surgar plenty. Fibre. That I would not be here We are what we eat. Diet is every think. It can improve how illnesses and quility of life. I sometimes would go 2 plus yrs or so with out a flare up. Crap on chest some people with COPD are constantly infected. Smoking is. A death sentence if yr got chest illness I was told buy my 1 st Dr Really old. At. Barts when 1st diagnosed. That my only hope was to stop or early death he proved right because my Sister also had my condition. A1AD. She could not quit and died with in 5 yrs aged 52. I. KNow it's up to the individual. But it really does me in when I see people smoking more so if they have COPD I heard. The. NHS. As made a break though with. CF a new. Drug that improve s. Lung function this is. Fantastic. On that. Note of going on. Please try to look after yr self. Flu jab. Fruits. Veg. Fresh fresh. Fresh. Right. Over and out.

Yes, good for you in taking care of yourself, a good diet it so important for a good life especially avoiding processed food is horrible for us.

Have you tried making soup from fresh ingredients? Can make up a batch and freeze portions...yum yum, getting hungry now!

Hi. Yes making a pot of soup. Or stew. Or chile. Con Carny just. Make double or treble and cool contain and. Bingo. Your own. Very healthy. Very very tasty. Ready meals. Great. I love to eat. Really well and can make a dull cold wet. day. That much Better and if your eaten well fill happyier then if eaten nowt or quick meals. I. Do not eat. Take always I love fish this weekend I went to. London fish market to get best freshest. Fish. Eels. And. Shark. So tasty. And high. Protein and omgea 3. -6. Oils. Which are very. good for. Eyes. Heart. Brain. And. I. Fill. Really. Ok. So. Best.
