Good afternoon everyone, I am currently on 4 ltrs of oxygen 24/7, to keep me in the bracket of 88-92, I have noticed recently when just getting up to slowly round the house this dropping of to low 70’s and then when I stop slowly creeping back up? Does this happen to many others on here?
Kind regards as always.
Joe.

Are you on steroids? Mine dropped to 78% when I came off them (after going on them the first time for a few days after a trip to A&E), and I had to go straight back on them as apparently if your oxygen saturates fall below 84%, you should take yourself to hospital. Maybe speak with your doctor.
I also forgot to say, and apologies, I was at work at the time. I hope they can get you right! It's scary when it drops so low and I kept panicking, but then I'm the worlds worst worrier. Sending love xx
Mine drops like a stone when moving. I'm on 1l sitting and 3l for walking. And that's a very short distance. A consultant was impressed with how quickly my level dropped and how far.
I’m having problems with oxygen levels when eating. I’m on 4 l 24/7 and and Niv machine when not eating and my sats can go down to very low 80 so have to stop eating and do the deep breathing till they are back up again then start eating again. As you can imagine it is taking me awhile to eat one meal. Not sure on what to do about this.
My Oxygen Sats drop like a stone whenever I become more active, & I am on 10 litres per minute 24/7 but try not to let it stop me & still work full time. Best advice I've had from nurse specialist is to mobilise very slowly but go for much longer & it does work. Problem is that I want to go at my normal rush about speed. Recently had to buy a mobility scooter for long distances & this has been a big help as means I using my energy for what I want to do & not using it all up in just getting there.
