Until yesterday I had not set foot outside since August 31st. I had to have a lot of help, but a friend took me and my craft stuff up to our church for the Macmillan coffee morning. I set up my stall including my drawing gear. I spent about 5 minutes in total drawing, but it did feel so good to be out and talking to other people. The Rector said she was very pleased to see me out and about, as did others. What they don't see is me collapsing in a heap when I get home and having to rest for hours. I wouldn't change it though.

I went out!
I’m so pleased you were able to get out and enjoy the coffee morning. Your stall looks impressive.
Take care, wishing you well. Xxxx
Well done you for making such an effort. Good to hear the reward was worth it. Keep it up now you've started.
So pleased for you. But I know how tricky these things are. For me the adrenaline kicks in and I seem ‘almost’ normal. But then a few hours later there’s payback. The bit that no one else sees. Don’t over do it.

Brilliant!! Congratulations. We have to pay heavily for such moments when we return to our safe comfort places, but don't ever say it isn't worth it. I think you will find it easier next time now. 🙂x
Well done. it does take an effort but should be easier next time and the reward is meeting other people
A big achievement and hardly surprising that you felt exhausted afterwards. Perhaps adrenaline had a part to play as when that runs out exhaustion can take over. So glad that you found it well worthwhile after a long spell of being stuck indoors.
Good for you, and well done.
Good, good, good!! It is difficult, that first step out fidgetandscooter . But you did it! xx 😁👏
Be proud of yourself for making this effort to go out
Well done. That's no mean feat! Your stall looks lovely too, by the way. I hope you don't leave it so long next time. xx
Well done! And for such a good cause too. Not a week for trying to lose weight with all the MacMillan Coffee Mornings going on everywhere round here.
So glad to hear you were out and about. Macmillan is such a good cause too. Hope you can get to enjoy meeting up with friends and your hobbies much more in the coming months, weather permitting. Take care of yourself. x
That's absolutely great! Your stall looks very impressive. Take care. xx Moy
Congratulation on getting out and about! I'm sure that took a great deal of energy to get your lovely items and yourself to the church and to set things up but what a lovely display - you should be proud of yourself. I'm hoping to going back to my local market next week (I've missed the last two months thru illness) but already people are offering to help me carry bags in and out, which makes me want to make the effort even more. Small steps each time and before you know it, you'll be able to undertake a little bit more. My company medical staff said to me last week that if I'm feeling up to it, get out and meet up with friends as it's so important to keep up doing 'normal' things, outside the circle of what seem like endless visits to the surgeries, consultants rooms and hospitals. Well done to you !
Good for you, you know they say the more we do with our lungs the better for us!! If you need a nap afterwards nap....but, enjoy!! And, share your beautiful art!! You have a gift, share it!!
