And where's that hyper Pussycat
With her Monday Music gone?
She's probably in the boozer by now having a vodka and coke
i know it's not even midday so it really is no joke
All those songs on Monday have gone right to her head
So she's either in the boozer or just laying in her bed....
Not really Bev,i bet your in church lol
Cheeky Ski's and his wayward cat
I was wondering where she had swaned off to, as long as ahes enjoying herself she is forgiven
Well it's no wonder I can't think up any new ideas, I'm still waiting for last Monday to arrive! 🙄
Morning Mr.D and even you as our Numero Uno Rhyming Man, is allowed time off. I mean we need you to "re-charge your batteries", so that you will once again brighten up our days🌞!! Yes I too have noticed our Monday Music D.J. has been quiet of late. Ski's could be right ..... It's a toss up over a V&C or under the duvet!!! Hope.you have a good weekend.💞
Thank you SH, I appreciate being allowed a few days off. It’s very relaxing sitting here with a mug of tea, feet up on my desk and reading back copies of the Beano.
I can hardly ever get on the music thread with the you tube on it.
Seems to slow down the site for me unfortunately and just sticks when I try to scroll through that thread.
I've read before that it can slow down for some reason but I'm not techy enough to work it out.
I like the music too so a shame.😢
Kittykat there are so many mega bit thingys in the music videos that you have to be really patient as they take up a lot of space on your device, perhaps if like me you can use a laptop or chromebook they might download a little quicker but it is still time consuming. x
Only got I pad skis at the mo.😊💕x
Then we shall send out a general appeal to the Apple boffins to help find you a solution....Calling all Apple people.....help Kittyktat please. x
Aw that's nice skis thank you.💕X
I’ve got an iPad and a moderately intelligent phone (I draw the line at calling it a smart phone) If I get in on the act early enough I can see the replies but once it gets too many replies I can’t even see the replies that are added without videos. If I try it seems the whole space time continuum is disturbed and sucked slowly into a supermassive black hole that’s formed in my iPad. Have you tried leaving it to load for several minutes? I’ve found that if there aren’t too many videos yet and I leave it alone to load, I can see the replies.
Hoping Bev is as well as can be, and just busy preparing a Mega Monday Music post for us for next week.
Thanks HH I will try waiting longer see if that works.
Just seems to jam the whole site up for me.
My I pad is pretty old now and need replacing to be honest .
Thanks again 💕X
I have two I pads.....the second was a present to replace my old one , but I use them both. The old one can’t cope with the Monday Music....too much to download, but the new one managed hypercats videos ok .
I think the problems that you and Kitty are having are more likely to be due to the speed of your broadband connections than your iPads and phones.
You could be right there Don. My Likes frequently get timed out so I guess my internet is really slow 🐌
Think my broadband fine as far as I know Don 💕x
I am really struggling.... My lungs/Heart scare me to Death........Its because a Doctor wants to put me under.......For a Biopsy for Cancer.. To take my ovaries, along with other tests! I am usually not afraid...When Doctors tell me not to go under..but what should I do.... if I don't wake up..... from my slumber! ...My lungs are 36, while equation 45 on my heart...Do I dare go into Surgery..or will it blow my world apart! Oh with my mind ,I struggle....what is best for me... Can my Heart/Lungs survive..... or will Jesus come knocking ........Just for little ole' me?
If you don’t wake up Janet, you can be pretty sure that you won’t have to do anything. It will all be done for you. Anyway you are a tough lady and you will deal with this no problem.😘
When you’re feeling poorly
And don’t know what to do
You have to trust the doctors
To take good care of you
Don’t worry about Jesus
You’ve nothing there to fear
He’s not going to take you
Whilst we’re waiting for you here.
Thank you Mr Don! I knew you'd understand! That poem is comforting! My Doctors just look at me cross eyed and shake their heads No ,when I ask for a pacemaker for my paralyzed diaphragm! That would help me breathe so much better! They don't want to put me under. Now this Doctor wants too...I'm going to talk with both my Doctors Heart/Lung...before anyone puts me under. Thank you for being there! Don't want to see the Titanic yet! Janet127
Anaesthetists are used to dealing with us ole crocks Janet, the Titanic is going to have to wait a good few more years yet. 😉
I have had heart problems all my life, and lung problems now. My cardiologist assures me that he has lots of anaesthetists who are good with complicated people like me! Try not to worry as you will be well cared for and you will have an opportunity to ask questions first. Don’t be afraid, everyone should look after you well! Many blessings xxx
Hello Carnival567....What is wrong with your Heart/Lungs? Thank you for your reply! Janet127
I have congenital heart disease, namely a narrowing of the main artery from the heart. It was discovered in 1961 when I had surgery to correct it in May 1961. At the time, even though I still had high blood pressure it was considered a cure. It turns out that it leaves other problems which weren’t expected then so I had no follow up at all. I was 17 at the time and just carried on with life. I started taking medication for high blood pressure when I was 30. I had 2 children in my thirties, but my obstetrician wasn’t happy! When I was 49 I had a mild stroke following a hysterectomy and at that point I started researching care for people and found a new charity starting for adults with congenital heart disease as more people were surviving until adulthood. I started getting atrial fibrillation and had quite a lot of treatment for it, but now I am in permanent af. We moved to the Bristol area three years ago and I know attend an adult congenital heart clinic there. I still have high blood pressure, and now have pulmonary hypertension as well as a small aortic aneurysm and some narrowing of the aorta again.
Because of the heart problems I tended to have the childhood illnesses more seriously and they think now that that was the cause of the bronchiectasis, which was diagnosed 8 years ago but which I have probably had longer. When I first saw the lung consultant in Bristol he also diagnosed obliterative bronchiolitis, which has caused some pulmonary fibrosis. I am now on virtually full time oxygen.
I have an urgent appointment with the cardiologist on Thursday because I have possibly/probably now developed heart failure. I am also having some problems with my eyesight. I also have other more minor problems which go with age. However, I have reached 77, which quite surprises my doctors and I hope to carry on a bit longer.
I hope you haven’t found this tale too boring. I sometimes think my official diagnosis is ‘complicated ‘. So many doctors have said that!
Complicated? lol It sounds like a whole lot to deal with! Your tale goes way back! My daughter has a congenial Heart defect...she is 52 now. At 3 she had open heart surgery to seal a hole in her heart. But as they put the patch over it...the patch ripped. So she hemridged all night...they took her in again the next day, got her to stop bleeding....but had to get out because she was so weak. So now she still has a hole in the patch. She does fine, she says! I have told her that she should get it repaired. Because now..all they would have to do is a cardiac cath and put another patch on. But she says no...so..I leave it alone! You sure have gone threw a lot! and pulmonary hyper tension! Wow. I am just concerned about the anesthetic! My Doctors have always said No. So lets see what they say this time! I also pray no stroke! and all in all it may be benign! I hope!Thank you for your encouragement and at 77 I think your doing grand, dealing with all that! Hugs! Janet127
Was busy last Monday so just taking a break
