Too much phlegm

Phlegm, Phlegm and more phlegm I'm so fed up of waking up being congested and unable to breathe as a result what do people do to help get rid of it, I walk to try and clear my lungs but it's really difficult when your breathless

Get your GP to prescribe carbocisteine. Thats what im on and they do help.

Aside from carbocysteine, there is also N-acetyl cysteine, which is available from health stores. My consultant prescribed montelucast, but I found it just made me sleepy, but it might work for you.
