Is there any way I can reduce the salty taste of my 7%? I know that sounds a bit daft lol considering it’s supposed to be salty, and it’s not unbearable or anything but it can hurt my mouth a bit if I’ve been eating something salty prior to doing treatments. I have to eat saltier food due to adrenal insufficiency and chronic diarrhoea (honestly I am way past being embarrassed about that haha) and I need to use the 7% but it isn’t pleasant :\ I’ve been treated for atypical-presenting severe reactive airways disease for some years now but feel like there’s more to it: consultant doesn’t want to do another chest CT (last one was in 2015 and was clear but things have worsened and changed considerably since then) as my x rays have been clear (but I know that bronchiectasis often doesn’t show on x ray in earlier stages but shows on CT so I’m not confident with this) and he doesn’t want to expose me to more radiation than necessary, which I get but still..
However, I am having an urgent CT of the abdomen and pelvis next Monday and I know that those show part of the lungs so I just wondered: if I have some degree of bronchiectasis or something underlying, would it show on that scan?
