How talented you are! Really envy your ability and so understand how an absorbing hobby helps us all forget how we feel for a while. But you get real results from your hobby, thanks for sharing, look forward to the next picture! Love Iris.x

They are Spanish. Besos. xxxx
I looked on your posts but only saw the picture of your daughter? Oh that blue sky!! I loved the Fiestas and learnt to dance the Sevillaña myself! It seems that a lot of us love Spain or have lived there?

So many people on this site are talented. Yourself, other artists. Photography, poems, knowledge of medical issues, gardeners. What an amazing group you all are.
Beautiful. You have caught the psssion, drama and movement so well. Looking forward to the others
Wow! You are very talented! Thank you for sharing.
Lovely movement! - It's a whole world on its own when painting. Glad you find it so beneficial.
Do you study Sorolla, and other figure painters?
I'm having to ignore my work for a while as asthma has been really bad this past week, and everything seems to make me wheezy - hopefully back to it soon!
I will have a look at Sorolla. I haven't really studied anyone,I only took it up 4 years ago.I am so glad that I did!😁 Hope you feel better soon.xx
I have had a look at Sorolla. What an artist!!?? Some stunning work there! They call him "the master of light"?
I am lucky to live quite near to Graham Berry and have attended some of his workshops. He is very popular in America, our own "master of light"!! Have a look at his work.Tap on the menu bar to get his galleries up.
I have looked at his paintings and they are very good but his manipulation of light and shadows just seems to make my dodgy eyes seem even dodgier and they all seem to have a certain blur factor.i would buy one if he would also supply me with corrective glasses
😂 Think you would have to provide your own!😂
I was lucky enough to have my cataracts done 3 years ago and am restored to 20/20 vision! I see colours so much more vividly now.
No doubt you saw that Sorolla was highlighted in a National Gallery exhibition - the first ever in the UK.
A talented impressionist, he had a way of painting whites that could positively dazzle - and very little of it would have been pure white. The trick is to make the darker shades and cool colours work to make the lighter whites sparkle.
There's been others painters of impressive techniques with light and shade, but right now, their names escape me!
Yes,he is very talented. Graham Berry is similar,he never actually uses white paint! As you say ,it's all done with contrast. I did read about the National Gallery, Sorolla is another artist for me to aspire to!
Once you start looking at art, there's dozens of them to discover
I've been an artist for 35 years or more, and still find new wonders to inspire me.
Artnet has thousands of pieces of art to look at - this is the result for a search for 'still life' (my genre): artnet.com/search/artworks/...
Once you have a good look through whatever or whoever you search for, you can select 'recently added' on the right hand side.
Just one site that has plenty to see.
What a beautiful picture Aingeful . I can almost see her moving. You are very artistic and talented. Please keep sharing! xx 💃💙
If I was,you wouldn't have recognised her as a Flamenco dancer! Have you seen his paintings of dancers??😂😂
Lovely picture Aingeful looking forward to the next one x
