Write a poem? I wouldn't dare,

Profanities would flood the air.

Arthur Ritus I must declare

Is enough to make a parson swear!

This little Bugger is sat on my Knees and wraps itself around my Fingers creating Big Nobbles.. I don't think it's an age thing , I do think it is a side affect of this Dam Disease and the Meds we have to take. It's a Viceous Circle. Thanks Don another Great Ode from You, Loosen up now Don and Swear as much as you want, Feel better after. Love n Gentle Hugs xxxx

My grip on things has gone astray

I wish old Arthur would go away

Hands don’t work

Power all gone

Arthur’s a berk

Don’t you agree dear Don?

Thanks for the smiles Don. Xxxxx

Thank you Carolina, have a good day and take care of those creaky knees. Lots of love, Carole xxx 😘

in reply to sassy59

I do agree Carole with your wonderful rhyme

I think we deserve a few glasses of wine.

When Arthur’s been working you can certainly tell

When fingers are stiffened and bent over as well.

If I was a Lord Sugar and wanted to say “fired”,

I’d probably be pointing at the one I’d Just hired!

Hi to OUR VERY OWN “ DON”

I was getting concerned as I hadn’t seen a post from you for a few days and was beginning to wonder if you had found a nice “ spot” on your travels and had emigrated🤣🤣 very glad that you haven’t.

Keep laughing and keep us aughing too. Stay happy and have fun.

Very good wishes

I thought you might be thinking I had popped my clogs. Just resting my aching hands.😉

Very true Don. A doctor once said to me ”Arthritis is like a friend it comes to stay and then goes away” I certain wouldn't call a friend! X

The more I see and hear of doctors the less faith I have in them. On BBC 4 tonight 9 o clock, A year to save my life. Told by his doctor the blemish on his heel was a verrucca, actually a malignant melanoma.

That is terrible and the bad thing about it is that it doesn't surprise me these days.

Well Master Po i am saddened to hear you are suffering pain

From a condition that we normally tend to associate with rain

So i hope that in your parts it's sunny and you will feel a little better

But heeds today's weather forecast which predicts it will get wetter

They say Thunder and lightning and perhaps even a storm

But i guess for flaming days in June that really is the norm.

Keep taking the anti inflammatory's Don...............Love Ski's and Scruff's xx

in reply to skischool

Thank you young Grasshopper. Old age and pain go together, I don’t think I’ve any bits left that don’t cause pain, it’s the loss of power, like Carole said, that causes trouble and frustration. Mind you, when cold weather causes cramp in the hands as well, then I start wondering whether I’d be better off without fingers.🙄

Yea master,as i dragged the painful bits into the garden to do some intensive weeding a wise cat asleep on top of a wheelie bin awoke and recommended i retire to the comfort of a well worn settee with a nice cup of tea.of course i took notice of her wise purrs and i shall rest these weary bones for the rest of the day. :) x

We all know Arthur sad to say.

Was wondering where you were last few days 💕X

in reply to Kittykat2

I was at home, moaning, grumbling and being generally unsociable. 😠

Arthur Ritus has a sister

Just be grateful if you missed her

Her name is Rumer Toid

and she's jut not fussed about age.

If you're 6 or 76

she'll come and rattle your cage!

in reply to

Am I outside her age range at 87 then? Phew! Don’t like the sound of her at all!🥺

in reply to

You stick to entertaining us Don and coping with Artur. Rumer is a nasty beast as she affects your glands, blood vessels, heart, joints, lungs oh yes, and bones too. :-O

Oh these pains are here to stay

They make you shout and want to say

Stop hurting now and giving me grief

Your such a pain causing mischief

Then the sun shines from the cloud

A sigh escapes really loud

Aah at last relief

in reply to Izb1

Nowt like a bit of sun on your back to make you feel better.🤗

Thats for sure, the rain makes me really sore. See Don your rhymes are contagious

in reply to Izb1

I see that you have caught it, you ought to do some more.

I think I ought to warn you, that there isn't any cure. 😉

Oh! No Don, I will leave that to you, the expert. I have been living with this nightmare for the last 6 months, so could relate to your post, the rain seems to make my rheumatoid worse, but cant say I am looking forward to such a high jump in temperatures next week, just cant win eh! x

Good to see you Don, having not seen you around for a few days. I thought you and your band of brothers, or should I say sisters, had set off for sunnier climes without taking us all (vicariously) with you. Sorry to know things aren’t great. Darn that Arthur !

I've been resting. 😉

Arthur Wrongus seems more appropriate to me at the moment, having a rough time, wondering whether the rib pain is bronchectasis or that Arthur! I know the thumb joint pain is his fault though!

in reply to Lyd12

I've given-up trying identify the causes of pain any more. Just gobble up a few more parawhatsits. 🙄

Short and right on Mr Don! My youngest daughter turned 50 today was diagnosed with RA about 7 years ago! Yes it can pull out pretty angry words! Janet127
