New Inhaler

I was diagnosed with copd 3 years ago and was given Fostair. About a month ago my copd nurse asked me to come to the clinic at the local hospital, she said that she wanted to change my inhaler to Anora Ellipta, this was in a powder form and I would only have to take it once a day, and trial it for 3 months see how it goes, I do the normal coughing during the day but I feel I need to take something at night, has anybody else been or is on this inhaler?

I am on Anora Ellipta - having changed from Seretide about a year and a half ago. I haven't had any problems with the Anora Ellipta and have remained mostly well. I don't know how you can tell if the medication is doing anything or not, as we are on it all the time. However, I requested to come off Seretide as I was reliably informed that, unless you have an asthma element with COPD, you don't need a steroid inhaler, and the Seretide did have unwanted side effects.

I tried it for a bit but for me found Inspiolto Respimat was more effective but we are all different so hope it works well for you.
