Pics are lovely, if this is near your home you are lucky to get opportunity to glimpse such animals.
Great picture, such regal animals, beautiful!
Thanks for another breathtaking photograph, Blackbird. Absolutely superb! Penny x
Fantastic photo, doesn't it make you feel glad to be alive, witnessing these beautiful animals in the wild is rare. Thank you once again for sharing x
How beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Your photograph has made my day and my husband's his is horse mad
Lovely pic. We are so fortunate near me as there is a large herd of horses about 2 miles from our home. The mares are foaling at the moment but I havenβt had the opportunity to get up there and see them as I broke my leg next to my ankle last week. π
Iβm guessing since you mention releasing the stallions that they donβt get to live in herds naturally? Seems a shame but I guess if space is limited it makes sense. Do you know the reasoning behind the separation? I am curious to know.

Sorry to hear about your leg recover soon β₯οΈ . I live in the new forest area where the roam free with donkeys and cows . The let so many out periodically throughout the year for mating and called back in . I think its down to the aggression they can cause in the herds as they chase the females down till they get tired out before mating this can get quite alarming and theres traffic on the roads and if there is a stampede on it can be as many as 50 ponies running at high speed in a chase down so quite high risk that's my understanding of it but could be wrong π
That is an AMAZING photograph! ππππ How long were you there, watching, before you caught it?
