My first pony was a New Forest pony (6 decades ago😱) such dependable children's ponies, sure footed and very long-suffering! I seem to remember around that time there were free range donkeys in the forest, too, around Brockenhurst?

We have Mr and Mrs Blackbird coming in to our garden Mrs has around 3 baths everyday, she missed a week or 2, must have had her babies, she's back in again now, it's beautiful all the new life arriving.Trish
