Well just been for my annual see the resp nurse and blow the roof off the little pigs house..there is a marked up % from last years . On diagnosis I was 46% last year it was 68 % and today 74% ...though these numbers are registered on the system I have no care as to what they are it's how I feel that matters inside and out . If I'm happy I'm happy and when I have a down day I let everyone know about it ππ
Apparently I can do with losing weight according to the very overweight nurse that did the test ... I hit the scale at 76 kg so in a year put on 6kg she asked if I worked and told her I am a dog walker pet sitter and I explained the pounds gained was at a guess muscle due to the amount of walking I do ...so to celebrate my weight and number gain I'm ordering Chinese and have a big Easter egg for after..have a beautiful weekend all laugh love and live ππ

Yay, keep it up, the longer you can manage this the better. Yesterday was a brilliant day for me, I did not use my reliever inhaler at all. Although I still had the night leg cramps yet again, which have reappeared after a years respite, possibly because the better weather has been good for walking distance again.
I will and thankyou... that's great you not using reliever yesterday ..leg cramps after a year is not so good I hope it resolves itself again. Weathers been particularly nice and better for walking in than the rain stay well ππ
Hi 2 greys, try having a large glass of water before going to bed, you may be loosing more fluid due to increase temp in weather. Dehydration can cause cramps xx
Thank you, I am aware of that and do drink and take a glass of water to bed. Leg cramp is an old bedfellow of mine and have spent a long time trying different remedies, both medicinal and herbal, to no avail. It is weird how it come and goes but something that I have got used to. Peripheral Cardiovascular Disease is classed as a disablement and I believe responsible for it, along with leg muscle use that will stop me from walking before breathlessness does.
The joys of getting older.... !! Xx. Maybe try a large Whisky before bed and let it knock you out for the night and sleep through cramps..worth a try instead lol xx
had terrible leg cramps at night too, it turned out it was due tp a vitamin B12 deficiency. They go away if don't forget to have my once a month B12 shot. I'm proud of this remedy, which I discovered myself, so I'm spreading the word. It might work for you too, hopefully!
Thanks, I have tried that too. The only thing that will help is stents being inserted but they don't last forever and also have risks attached that I find unacceptable. Stents would have to be inserted into what is a major artery that runs down through the body and stomach, where it divides into two, one for each leg with stents in those as well. Exercise and diet can help, but exercise also induces the pain too, a no win situation. After three years of this exercise and diet have not worked so I just have to put up with it for now.
It's crazy numbers numbers and more numbers to rule the lives..I am what I am and doing what I want when I want and stuff the resp nurse ..its like being dictated to once a year and the same old auto play button ..rant over of the soapbox now and beef chow mein on way have a lovley evening yatzy πππ

Great news, I like the way you think. I'm very overweight and have been losing it. I ended up jumping on the scales every time I walked past. This is no more. Now if my pants fall down I'm very happy !!
If my pants fall down I get rather red in the face ππ... I jest of course dont be a slave to the scale and congrats on the weight lost already twiggy has nothing on you ππ
