I use a different combo of pillows depending on how i am feeling, but it’s normally 3 ordinary pillows and a ‘V’ pillow 😊

I have one from Dunelm, it's much chunkier than most of them. - I still use a couple of pillows with it though. It was only available online, not in their shops but I've had it a few years now and it's still nice and chunky so it was a good buy. Well done for quitting the weed, saving your lungs and saving money - win, win👏👏👏

I have used elephant feet (furniture risers) at the head end of my bed plus four pillows

Hi 2g, my bed has castors, would these be suitable?? I have been looking for a while and am not sure.

The ones that I use have a hollow that the legs/castors sit in, so it does not fall off.

Greetings

Just a thought: if you go for an adjustable bed, make sure you aren't charged VAT on it. I have one, and it's been brilliant!

Hi, I also need the sleep upright, it does help the mucus, Try your palliative team, they could put you forward for a hospital bed that gets you into that position but helps to keep you there. Pillows I find move out of place and you end up almost flat. The bed has an automatic position handset so you can get to the position that suits you best.

Hi Sarah

Keep going hun - I had no choice really because as well as being diagnosed with COPD and also found out I had an upper gastric bleed and stomach ulcers

I was on blood drips, and oxygen and antibiotics and in hospital for 2 weeks

Once home I never felt the urge to smoke - last cigarette was 14/11/18 - and still going

Keep trying hun - you will succeed - I never want to feel like I did again

Amazon sell folding back supports for beds which should help keep the pillows from sliding. Have just ordered one. And perhaps one of those inflatable neck supports used for travelling.
