Well I suppose..

Money makes wonders and to desperate times desperate measures??

I had enough so trekking to the other end of London it was..

Because he sees on Harley Street for £500 but saw me at the NHS Academy for £150!

Plus the £70 worth of this week’s goodies.

Don’t know what’s in them. Don’t want to know 😃

He said there were plants and there was no interaction with my meds so that was enough for me.

He treats people for pain in NHS hospitals around London but you imagine the waiting list. Of course we all know pain is the symptom of a cause and so he thinks he has found it.

It certainly seems to fit with my actual condition👌

So there are diet restrictions I expected as much, posted them somewhere for you..I do love my coffee, he was human and compromised to my morning cup with one sugar and after no caffeine in tea or anything else.

He didn’t say no but not much or keep it low to the rest. Nothing we don’t know already..I think he meant no in the long run but didn’t want me to run out of the office on Week One 😃

I’ll let you know 🤔

We need another picture don’t we?

I got this from a friend, it brought tears to my eyes..

Love 💕

Fran

Gosh Fran your certainly wizzing around London ! Shopping, theatres, and posh men in Harley Street! I do so admire your resolve to get everything sorted and bring some relief into your life. I’m sure there are a lot special qualities in plants, honey etc. Have you looked at Chinese medicine ? I hope your keeping warm and away from coughing persons on buses, plus wash hands frequently! 🌞

Hi Jazz

😃 never went to Harley Street, saw the Chinese doctor in Archway N6 much cheaper!!

I liked him.

Yes I have wipes and I was my hands 😊

Thank you for the support 🌸

🌙 ⭐️ 💫 There you go, optimistic as ever. Well done, Fran. You keep our spirits up 💕

I don’t like the sound of less coffee for you...hasn’t 2greys recently given us the go ahead for MORE coffee??!

Try this diet for a while, but you might get withdrawal symptoms next from caffeine? But maybe he’s put his finger on the link to your pain?? Or the puffed water retention symptoms?? Either way, maybe worth a try, though a few weeks might be needed for this experiment.

Let us know the next instalment....all the very best to you 🍷🍷 though, whoops, has he cancelled the wine as well?? You’ll have to get ALL your fun through the football ⚽️ now! You might have to put up with us beating you in February though....🤣😂....if Ole is up to the challenge!!

Stay strong, Fran, my friend, 💪 💕 🌷 and warm, Penny xx

Hi Penny 💓

It did give me hope. I needed that. I don’t know if the goodies will work but I’m trying.🤗

The theory is good. I mean I have kidney pains. I know steroids dry you out and probably taking the antibiotics, prednisolone as well as Hydrocortisone finished me off. Actually one of my friends told me today Omeprazole is also a culprit.

So now I am laying on the bed watching the 6 o’clock news with a heating pad on my lower back and 2 cushions under my feet!!

I didn’t talk about the wine but as he said no sugar..

You may beat us now Neymar is out but I hope not 😃

Love 💕 you

Hi Fran 🌷

You sound like you’re in our final pose this morning at yoga...relaxing your body. Feet up good for swollen ankles.

Your account of the drying effects of these drugs is worrying. I suppose the thinning, easily bruised skin is part of that. I’m glad now that I opted was ranitidine rather than omeprazole.

I’ve noticed drying skin and hair too....thought it was a feature of aging....😨 What we have to put up with! Hoping I stay as optimistic as you, anyway....you’re a real tonic to us all.

Roll on 12 February- the clash of the Titans ⚽️!!

It will be fun to watch, whatever the result. I just hope I can watch it, using one of my gadgets! 📺

If it helps, despite my cream cake yesterday...an aberration.....I’ve given up added sugar. I only eat it in fruit and vegetables now. GP said if you’re eating carrots, you’ll never be short of the sugar your body needs. So raw carrots it is!!! Ha! 🥕🥕🥕

Relax in that bed of yours....🛏 and recover from another busy day in London.

Love 💕, my friend, Penny xx

Thank you Penny 🧚🏻‍♀️

I wasn’t given a choice of ranitidine so I don’t know about it. I must be on Omeprazole for at least 5 years.

All I know is that the Chinese doctor said with time as I feel more balanced I will realise I will need less and less of those regular meds.

Strangely enough yesterday I didn’t take paracetamol. The pain was bearable but it was my last day of Prednisolone. We’ll see now there is just Hydrocortisone left.

I slept after my 6 o’clock breakfast, woke up at 9.30 am!

Then last evening after I wrote to you woke up for the 10’oclock news 😃 fell asleep again and just woke up now having a cup of herbal tea.

I don’t know if it is the Chinese meds or the fact that I am unwinding because I feel hopeful.

Still my kidneys seemed to be functioning straight away although still sensitive. If not I would have gone to A&E, Chinese doctor or not.

So one day at a time..

Yes I am meeting with PSG supporters for the match!!! 😃😂

Lots of love,

Fran xx 🌸💕

So glad to hear you’ve found some more sleep and relaxation, Fran 🤗 really pleased!

As you say, it might be the hope given by your Chinese consultant.

You’ve had a good start....so keep going, I would say. Give the eastern culture’s methods a chance to help you 😘

But, I shall be ratted if you manage to watch the match and I don’t!! 🤬 I’ve got my name down for cancellations....!

Hope you have a comfortable and enjoyable day! Lots of love 💖Penny xx

No we are going to watch on tv. I have no strength to make it to Manchester. I expect the atmosphere will be great 👍
