Pollution monitoring

Hi. I bought a Noklead A10 Air Quality Monitor which just measures PM2.5 particles per m3. But I'm a little confused: the WHO recommendation is that a level above 10 ug/m3 is unhealthy but the user instructions for the Noklead say 0-50 ug/m3 is "good air quality" and 51-100 ug/m3 is "moderate air quality." Can anyone please clarify?

I think there are two measurements, hourly and annual. But I can’t really remember and I didn’t understand the difference. But I guess the lower one is the hourly measurement.

Hi

I would suspect the device is calibrated for those particular numbers.

The WHO would use a more sophisticated machine with different calibration.

I know the roadside devices are huge and collect more information.

As long as you just take the result, good/moderate/poor. It could prove a useful device.
