Hi just about to go to half pay been of six months with cops. This won’t cover bills and am in middle of nice pleurisy bout! Union rep said could claim to help with shortfall in pay.

Please anyone know anything never claimed anything but can’t live with this stress as well as feeling so rough. Thanks!

I think the BLF helpline would be a good place to start full of useful information including about benifits. Good luck with getting sorted

Hi there , if you are on half pay it maybe difficult to get top ups depends how much your pay is . Your local Cab office might be a good starting point, or the benefits section of your local council. You can get help towards rent, rates, mortgage, prescription costs ect. Each case is different so seek help as soon as possible. Best Wishes.
