On another new tablet from my PH Clinic in Sheffield. It has not been kind to me but I am getting a little better in the second month of taking it? Still having problems with GP's not understanding the PH side of it or the medication? Onwards and upwards ;)

Wishing you well Offcut. Xx 🤔😉

Helpful for those;

" people who are awarded the highest level of support under PIP – and where their needs are expected to stay the same or increase – will receive an ongoing award of PIP with a light touch review every 10 years. "

So I guess that means, highest level awarded for both daily living and mobility.

I would think so? Like anything DWP it is not that straight forward?

Thank you so much for this Offcut. The devil is in the detail of course.

Without a doubt but it is about time they accept that some conditions do not get better.

Absolutely agree🙂

Think that’s why throwing everyone of pip befoure that comes into force.

As we have seen with dwp and law that means nothing to them.

Well Offcut it sounds good in theory , but only time will tell. Of course it will help some which is better than not at all and should save some money on unnecessary reveiws which may allow the budget to give higher rates :) :) no harm in being optimistic

That might be half empty

Thats about right or maybe how Jeff says too. Have a nice day.

Obviously it’s a good idea but I think that they will try very hard on first application to prevent people achieving the higher rates.

I am sorry to say I think the same!

Let's just hope they understand that lung disease is one of those that don't get better. It took me about 3 years to get them to understand that I was never going to be able to return to work. I only wish I could.

It is DWP that have not done the reccomendations the Gov have placed more than once! They do seem to need a sterner hand to make sure they comply.

Frightening really because right now at this moment in time,I honestly can't give you a single suggestion as to who could be the captain of that ship. DWP needs someone who isn't a wishy washy, bow and grovel person........No..........still can't find anyone who could do or would want to do that job!!!

Good news for some people and it will cut some time off the rest, who are waiting over a year for the appeal.
