Hi i have just got back from a lovely holiday abroad

In my last post i commented on my concerns over the last flight which was a bad experience. My oxygen is usually 91% and i manage well apart from being rushed and on a flight I took my oxy level during the flight and it fell to 87% hense probably while i struggle. Anyway this time i had airport assistance and what a difference this made. NO being rushed through passages and up stairs on to. Plane. I was wheelchaired from departure lounge on to the plane. No gasping for breath. Panic. or stress made such a difference. Wasnt dreading the return home

Yes, I always arrange airport assistance. Even the walk from the terminal drop off point to the assistance point dragging my case, brings my breathlessness on, and I only have moderate COPD.
