...and has nothing to do with emphysema unless this revelation takes your breath away, but I just happened on this today and thought the group might enjoy it:

My daughter showed me this photo recently too......is it a Motte and Bailey, we were trying to work it out.

It's interesting to see how people must have lived many years ago.

It's also only a few months ago since the ground here was so wet it couldn't hold any more water, now my grass is burnt to a crisp.
