Celebrities.

You see them on the TV,

For newspapers they pose.

But who the devil are they?

Celebs that no one knows.

Celebrity per COED

1) a famous person. 2) the state of being famous..

Origin Middle English (in the sense ‘solemn ceremony’): from Old French celebrite or Latin celebritas, from celeber, celebr- ‘frequented or honoured’.

What are they 'celebrated' for🤔 - something they've done? some sort of achievement? some well earned merit? Oh - being young and good looking, well - we've all been there haven't we😄😄

You and Midge are celebrities to me and ,I’m sure, many others who are entertained and cheered by your amusing and often thoughtful rhymes. I love the pictures too 😊

Haha..My dear Don, like Sassy I don’t know half of them anymore!!

Celebs that have sold their soul as from the moment they have reached that status, there is a price to be paid..am I glad to be anonymous!

Then up one day and down the next! Is life a reality show??

And then there is age..Aging gracefully..or surgically 😃

Yesterday Bea hired the new Murder of the Orient Express on itunes. It was different, Kenneth Brannagh made a good Hercule Poirot with a fantastic moustache! Dame Judi Dench was in it too. Bright and ageless I thought!

Have a good day x

Love the poem Don :) Most of these 'celebs' seem to be young so I presume they are on these silly youth programmes or reality TV, none of which I watch or would want to! x

in popular usage outside the film industry, an "A-list celebrity" is any person with an admired or desirable social status. ... "D-list" (or sometimes Z-list) is for a person whose celebrity is so obscure that they are generally only known for appearances as so-called celebrities on panel game shows and reality television.

Sassy hit the nail on the head.well done Carole.very astute.....Ski's and infamous Scruff'sxx
