Tightness in neck arm's and chest

I have COPD and lately getting tightness in my neck arms and chest. Is this common to this illnessay or anxiety. Does anybody else have thsee issues

I have similar symptoms, for me, anxiety is the cause. I believe chest tightness can be a symptom of COPD but what you're describing can also be heart related. Probably best to run it by your doctor if you haven't had a heart workup recently, just a thought.

There can be a number of reasons. If it is a new symptom then you should see your Doctor or nurse to eliminate physical causes.

Hi I have the same mu shoulders and upper back ache doc said its with trying too hard to breathe and to use my stomach more that's why I need rehab to learn how to breathe properly

Ask your doctor to prescribe pulmonary rehab. If there's none in your area, see if there's a singing for lung health group near you. Regular singing in a structured way can help you breathe from the right place. The BLF has a list on their website.

Thankyou, erg, i will do that. I also, have an extended breast bone, pushed out because of a lifetime fighting for breath. 😊✌️🌻

I can identify with that: over the last 10 years my chest measurement over my ribs has expanded by 3 inches.
