I had this feeling where I would pull more air in as it felt like I wasn’t getting enough oxygen I also had a tight feeling in chest. All of this made me feel panicked and anxious not the other way around. I noticed I slept ok but once awake this was happening all day. Went to hospital for all the tests as I am asthmatic so they checked for heart lungs etc. All my tests came back positive. I had been on a tropical holiday and I ended up having a parasite. Strange symptoms I know but since clearing up the bacteria (giardia) I am better. Lasted 2 months too long. If this could be your problem just know that Doctors will not relate the two just ask for them to test you for bacteria or parasites and make sure you provide enough samples as they don’t always show up in one sample.
