A brief glance into the future.

The funeral was a good one,

With lots of people there.

Some were very good friends of his

Others just went to stare.

As they put the coffin

Into the standing hearse,

A hand popped out from under the lid.

And scribbled a little verse.

"Bye eck", said a bystander

That's just like rhymer Don,

He had to do just more rhyme,

Before he passes on.

(Not for a long time yet I hope.)
