Help from passers by.

A short time ago I was suddenly taken quite short of breath so much so I was hanging over the handle of my shopping trolley to stay upright. A very kind lady stopped to ask if I needed help but I just could not speak. She went away a bit put out. So this does not happen again I have typed a short note I keep in a plastic cover in my pocket. It says what the problem is, thanks the reader for their concern and says when I can speak I will. I think it will work.

Hi Dale, what a brilliant idea, there have been times I could not tell anyone what was wrong with me. I think having a note to tell and thank people is a brilliant idea.xxx😊 Bernadette

Hi your community nurse 👩‍⚕️ should give you a card to tell of your condition to carry with you but if it happens again bend forward it gives your lungs more expansion too take more air in hope this helps you, take care. 😃

That’s a great idea. I’m sure you can get a medical card too describing your problem x

What a good idea dak1507 . Actually I might make two, one to keep in my outdoor coat and one to have by the front door. Although I had put my oxygen on, by the time I had rushed to answer the door, I was so breathless I couldn't speak to the caller. Stay well, Sheila x

Great idea that I am going to copy....thankyou x
