Which causes the most breathlessnes?

I had emphysema first followed by chronic bronchitis and chronic asthma most recently bronchiectasis. Do different diseases cause breathlessness at differnt times? How do I know which are causing my difficulty at the moment? Again most recently stabbing central chest pain ( been hos had ecg all fine) was wondering if anyone else has stabbing chest pains with bronchiectasis?

I am sure the experts on here will maybe have different views, but for me I do not question which one of the three is making me breathless. I do not have any stabbing pains and never have with my Bronchiectasis, I also do not produce much mucus for which I am very grateful. Having said all of that I have still been hospitalised a few times now.
