Fundraising for the BLF on Facebook

It’s my birthday in less than 2 weeks, so Facebook, being the ever charitable social media platform that it is, asked me if I’d like to set up a fund raising post for family and friends to donate to my charity of choice instead of cards and presents.

So I did a thing......

The BLF is always close to my mind and my heart - been on the Patient Think Tank for the last couple years, and Bethany can be quite persuasive when she recruits me for other various voluntary bits lol

Just happy to help however and whenever I can. It’s my way of giving back I guess. I’ve had a lot of problems over the years with Asthma and more recently COPD and Bronchiectasis.

Without the NHS I may actually have died a long time back (I’m only 42 now!) - but the NHS is only as good in their knowledge to help folk like me as the research provided to them by organisations like the BLF.

So, there’s my motivation 😊
