Jam Sandwiches.

After a pretty bad week I needed a laugh and this did make me laugh.

A guy called joe, who to put it politely wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, had managed to land a labourer's job and was working on a construction 10 floors up. When they stopped for lunch one day and got their sarnies out, one of the crew asked Joe what he had. Joe replied in disgust, "Mam's done me jam sandwiches.. again. That's all she ever does for me, jam sandwiches. If I ever see another jam sandwich, I swear I'll top meself." His workmates just laughed and carried on with their break

Next day, when they stopped for lunch again, Joe opened his lunchbox. "AGHHHHHH!" he screamed at the top of his voice frightening several pigeons into flight. "Jam sandwiches again." Throws his lunchbox across the floor and takes a header off the 10th.

At the inquest, the Coroner asked Joe's mother if he was depressed, or upset about anything that morning before leaving for work.

"No, he was really very happy" she answered. "In fact he was so happy, he even made his own sandwiches."
