penoumia question

is it normal while recovering from penoumia to have a really sore throat should i make a docs appointment .

About 14 months ago I had bilateral pneumonia. I did seem to get a number sore throats for a month after. I do not know if this is normal or not. Best advice would be to get it checked out by your Doctor's as sore throats can have a number of causes.

Yep, good advice - get it checked mixy79. It's not uncommon to go down with another chest infection after pneumonia - not worth leaving it to chance.

yes seeming as its only 4 days since im out of hospital wi my 2 dose of ugh and ive just finished my 2nd course of antibiotics too so was not sure if it was down to coughing that made my throat sore .

It may just be all the coughing mixy, but I agree with the others - it's worth getting it checked out by a doctor to put your mind at rest.
