well my pulmonoligists said see u in 1 yr says emp has stablizied i said must be from exercises still mild she said exercise has nothing to do with your airflow then why excercise if thats true?

Excersice vigorous can be bad and damage lungs more.

Light excersice is good for building up good resistance SO you can still function WELL in a fashion

Also gets you use to being out of breath AND helps circulation system ALSO helps keep pneumonia at bay as moving about so more likely to cough gunk up.

According to my pulmonary nurse, muscles use oxygen when we move around. Having stronger muscles means they use less oxygen.

I had no idea! That is certainly a motivation to exercise.
