Hi and welcome. Was diagnosed with moderate emphysema 14 months ago. I stopped smoking, gained weight and started exercising. I now feel fitter than I have felt in years. There is so much you can do for yourself. Please don't Google it. Remember we are here to help.

I stopped smoking 3 yrs ago. I get a lot of exercise.

Healthier eating is also good. Try to avoid people with colds and other infections. Wash your hands a lot and avoid touching your face with your hands. All these help - they were tips I learned from people posting on this site, when I was diagnosed with moderate COPD three years ago.
