New pf diagnosis

Hi my name is john.

Just had ct scan results and confirmed mild pf,mild emphysema,and mild bronchitis

A hatrick eh !! Also lymph gland swollen in neck near gotta ? And apparently I have gallstones.great !!!

Appointment at wythenshawe in early Jan.

Pretty fit 67 yr old golf 3 times a week,no symptoms yet !

Feeling very depressed at the MO,prognosis is no fun is it.

Aren't you the lucky one? A hat trick! But, and it is a big but, they are all at the mild stage which is great news because properly handled they can be managed as many on here will explain. Welcome to the forum.

john,mild doesn't even get you into the second eleven on our team,take your diagnosis and any relevant advice that came with it and with careful health management and exercise your local golf course will close down long before you do.Chin up dear chap and live long..............skis and scruff

Hi Jw19, that’s a lot to cope with all at once but completely doable. You might have all this, but all this doesn’t have you. Keep doing what you’re doing x

Quick update,no drugs as yet.going back in November for more checks.

Could be Nsip or ipf ?? But very mild at the moment and still asymptomatic !!
