They say it's down to Psalm Sunday when Jesus rode a donkey and blessed them now every donkey has a cross mark on them from mains down and across always lighter than the coat ...but if the donkeys coats are light they have a darker cross 😇😇😇

If I ever get the chance to buy land and move house this is exactly what I shall have in a little field by the side of it. I love them and always have. Are they yours ? If they are your a very fortunate person. The field they are in looks like heaven too. I guess because I've always gone to church maybe that's why I love them the old stories told at Sunday school when your young. If there yours what's are there names ? Fantastic animals, seen them in a lot of places I've visited over the years and I can't help being drawn to them. I sponsor them too and have for a long time. I cry when I see the adverts about them not getting looked after. However there is a lot of people out there trying to help these hard working lovable animals. Xx
