The pint was partakenof in Barmouth, N.Wales. I'm staying on a farm in Llandanwg and will shortly be going in the farmhouse for a big Welsh breakfast. I'll then head for home using the coast road via Blaenau-Ffestiniog, Llanrwst, Llandudno, Abergele, Rhyl, Prestatyn and Liverpool. After posting this I shall expect crowds to be lining the route in the tradition manner whilst I regally wave. 😀

I think I have been to pretty much all of them places when I was working. Daily trips from the midlands and back again. We did 2000/2500 miles a week at it's peak. Fantastic views in that area!

I love the sound of the Welsh Farm holiday in Llandawang and can imagine the size of the breakfasts. Mr BJ and I are still struggling with our waistbands after them hearty northern breakfasts.

Is the weather still good ? I do hope so.

I was only away for 3 nights and was very lucky with the weather. The breakfasts got progressively bigger because I cleared my plate which made her think she hadn't given me enough!!

You're making me very jealous with your tales of travelling. Since our caravan was stolen in July we have been unable to wander wherever the will takes us (although we have managed to wander over to France to stay in my sister's house for the past month. I really love it here but it's nothing like our beautiful British countryside.) Hopefully in October we will be able to buy a new caravan and set off on our travels - you never know, Don, our paths may even cross.
