Tuesday I was volunteering at the British Lung Foundation. Wednesday I was taking part in an asthma workshop with a few others. Was happy to be helping others.
Since Thursday I’ve been laid up, really ill. Rasping cough, sore throat, voice croaky, runny stuffed up nose..... go out, do good and get hit with bad stuff on return. Probably caught something off someone on the train. Oh well. You win some you lose some.
Feeling slightly better so hoping to be able to get out the house today. Still not great but better than the last couple days. We’ll see.

Yes Symes it's a good feeling helping others even with it backfires on us. I'm pleased you had a good time though and hope that you feel well very soon. You never can tell how long these episodes will last that's the problem. X
Hi, yes it is good helping others, both for the giver and the receiver. Well done.
It is that time of year again when the nasty bugs come out of their summer hibernation, I have noticed a lot of people with coughs and sneezes this past week.
Two obvious little words for the next time you are altruistically tempted to venture amongst the great British public.
