Oh... good luck!!!!
Bless you Margaret. Get well soon. Xxxx
Thanks sassy Bit of a shock to read I'm end stage nobody told me xxx
Oh dear you do have a time of it ! It`s really not fair after you made the effort to have a little holiday for Frank`s sake. Hopfully you`ll be home soon and feeling a bit better. Don`t let the words "end stage " get you down. Quite a few on here have been told that and are still here. Let`s face it, as a friend of mine used to say - after a certain age we`re all in the Departure Lounge. But you`re not old enough yet ( I am ) Take care, Sheila xxx
Wishing you all the best Margaret and hoping you will be home soon, thinking of you. Regards Ann
oh heck Hope you get really good treatment and have it sorted out quick
hopefully Margaret it's only a small one and will resolve itself quickly.wishing you well ..........skis and scruffy x
No wonder you've been feeling rough! Hope you soon feel better. xx Moy
I'm trusting that this time the Doctor's will get to the cause of your pain. Hopefully you will have WiFi and can keep us all updated? Lots of gentle hugs!! Cx
Thanks Doctor was convinced it was pneumothorax but hospital said not so just have to wait and see but finding out I'm end stage shook me love Margaret xxx
Oh my ....good to hear from you. End stage, stage 4 or whatever the terminology the doctors use, frightening as it sounds,is not what you wanted to hear when you are feeling so unwell and in pain. I'm in the same "stage" and have been for over 2 years and so are loads of folk on here. Many are living lives years and years after being told the very same. I dont necessarily agree its the best time to tell you....but it could be their "duty of care" etc. Are you having to stay in hospital whilst they still identify what's causing all your pain? Cx
Oh no, Margaret. I really feel for you, you're having a really bad time at the moment. Let us know how you're getting on, when you can.
Hi Margareet, Hope you get better quickly. Speak soon when you get home. Love and hugs Rosalie

I've had two of those within 6 months, provided they get the drain in properly you just need rest and let the drain get on with it. It can be a bit awkward getting out of bed with the drain tube getting in the way.

End stage, shmend stage, Margaret. At this stage, I think you are a medical miracle surviving with such low sats. You have amazing resilience and despite all it's problems, I think your body seems to have a core strength that's just not quitting.
This is just a thought but I've been wondering about your hospital and how good or bad it's respiratory department is. As your case is so unusual and sats so low, would there be any chance of them sending you to Wythenshaw or the Brompton ?
